A Cough Revisited

About 3 years ago I wrote a post on my struggles with a lingering cough I was having. I found out the blood Pressure medicine I was taking was causing the constant. cough. The reason I bring this up now is that for all the posts on leadership, this post is still the most read and commented Blog I have. Should I change my direction from leadership to more personal stories? I really need some feedback here.

Glad i clicked on your link. My Mom has had a lingering cough for a couple of years (since a really awful bout with pneumonia in '08). She's also on blood pressure meds. Hmmm. I'll forward this to her. Thanks!

Chris, I think that your passion for leadership has a spot online! I recommend that you stay the course. Also, you have some other options. 1. You could export your personal (non-leadership) posts and import them into a new blog that is just about you... or you could start your leadership blog (fresh) elsewhere and import your recent leadership posts there. I did something similar when I reorganized my blog (separating my fitness enthusiasm from my business/tech posts, etc.). I would not overly worry about total comment count; keep working on your quality content and continue to engage those who comment. Also, make sure that you are commenting elsewhere (on other leadership-focused blogs); I find that can help draw people back to your blog!

Food for thought!
